Dead.

We gave up.

We are focusing on finishing The Futurists full length (hopefully completed and released by the end of the year). Check out http://www.thefuturistsband.com for updates.

Don't worry though, we will still be making music. We are just giving up on the 100 songs in 1 year. We all expected this though right? Maybe we'll try again some time?

Finally?

Wow. We suck at this a little bit. Its been long delayed, but here is what we've managed to write and record for the months of November, December, and January. Hopefully we will be a little more productive and a bit more prompt about getting these out into the universe. Enough talk. Here are the jams:

As always they a zip file of the album is available here and the individual tracks can be downloaded at virb.

Oops. . .

Sorry for the lack of updates. We kind of dropped the ball on the holiday season. We haven't been able to record and write as much as we would have liked due to work, the holidays, and the Futurists getting back together. So what we will do is release November and December songs together. Expect them mid-January.

In the meantime here is the most ridiculous but fun-to-play song I have ever written. It will be on the November + December release:

Wrapped it up sooner than expected! Here it is. . .the October jams in all their lo-fi glory:

Again, you can download a zip file of the entire album here. You can also download individual tracks from virb.

Learning Curve

I finally figured out how to embed albums, so here is the September set in its entirety. The October jams are being mixed as we speak and will be ready by the weekend. Get excited.

Free music

Without being too preachy about it, I want to let you guys know about a philosophy that we are trying to adhere too. The basic idea is that if you are downloading our music for your personal use, you should not be required to pay for it. We only ask that if you do download it you share it with others. We want to help music break out of the industry that far too often controls the creative process. If you want to read into it more take a look here http://www.ram.org/ramblings/philosophy/fmp.html.
